With over 20 years of experience in women’s health, workplace wellness, and leadership development, she combines science-backed strategies with a deeply personal approach to coaching. Dr. Kanika empowers leaders to cultivate resilience, unlock their full potential, and thrive in high-stakes environments.
Dr. Sims is a native of South Georgia and obtained her medical degree from the Medical College of GA. She completed her Residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of South Florida. She then completed Fellowship training in Preventive Medicine at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and obtained her Masters in Public Health from Johns Hopkins School of Public Health.
She is currently an Associate Professor of Medicine, founder of Invest Health, speaker, author, wife, and mother (of 3 littles). She is dedicated to helping high-performing leaders unlock their full potential by cultivating well-being as the key to leadership success.
Outside of her work as a physician and coach, she enjoys exploring Atlanta’s bike trails, and practicing the art of fermentation while on a quest for Atlanta’s best gluten-free, vegan donuts.
